The European Conference on Smart Sensing and Context (EuroSSC) explores techniques, algorithms, architectures, protocols, and user aspects underlying context-aware smart surroundings, cooperating intelligent objects, and their applications. It will be held on October 29-31 in Zurich, Switzerland.
The topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Distributed smart sensing and context recognition
- Context processing
- Context-aware actuators, interaction methods, and human aspects
- Applications, deployment, test beds and case studies

The 2nd Workshop on Networked Systems for Developing Regions (NSDR'08) will be held with SIGCOMM 2008 on 18th August, 2008 in Seattle, Washington, USA. Following on a successful workshop at SIGCOMM 2007, NSDR'08 will provide a venue for researchers to propose and discuss ideas concerning Internet and communication technologies for developing regions.
The TinyOS community may be interested in topics like sensornets designed specifically for developing regions, power-efficient designs, "extreme" networking, and applications of sensornets in developing regions. We look forward to your participation!

The 17th International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks (ICCCN'08) will be held in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, August 4-7, 2008. The Wireless Sensor Networks track is focused on recent advancements in embedded sensor network platforms, software systems, algorithms, and development tools. The technical program consists of regular papers, invited papers, and research demonstrations.

The Fifth Workshop on Embedded Networked Sensors (HotEmNets 2008) takes place in Charlottesville, Virginia and will be a focused workshop with an emphasis on groundbreaking research in wireless sensor systems.
