Embedded C, TinyOS programmer, Zigbee developer
Start-up in San Jose, CA is looking for a contractor with experience in embedded C, networking and possibly TinyOS.
The person must be a good communicator and team player. (S)he MUST have >5 years of experience in product development. Research experience MUST be accompanied by industrial experience.
The ideal candidate is self organizing, detailed oriented, and combines strong technical skills with communication and team participation skills.
Skills:
- Proven track record of delivering software products to a customer base over multiple releases.
- Significant programming experience in C and C++. Embedded C experience is a must.
- Experience with more than one embedded processor (ATMega128L, MSP430, 8051, X-Scale), and a detailed knowledge of its architecture including peripherals (MMU, DMA, UARTS, etc.).
- Experience with embedded development environments; VxWorks and others
- Familiarity with the network layers of the OSI communications model. Design and implement a structured network communications stacks.
- Wireless Communication Protocols. ZigBee familiarity is a MUST
