Mission

The TinyOS 8051 is working on porting NesC and TinyOS to the 8051 microcontroller. The key challenges are (i) decoupling NesC from gcc and (ii) dealing with the 8051 segmented memory.

Relevant TinyOS Enhancement Proposals (TEPs)

Draft TEPs can be found in the tinyos CVS tree at sourceforge under the tinyos-1.x module in the beta/teps directory. The final TEPs are in doc/specs. Please see TEP-1 for more information on TEPS. If a TEP doesn't have a link into the CVS tree, it hasn't been committed.
