Hi. I am a Masters student undertaking a study on Security Analysis of Sensornets, I appreciate the topic is not purely Tiny OS but I thought it might be worthwhile adding a blog here. Basically I am saturated with data on the subject wrt NEST, TinySec, Routing Protocols, Zigbee etc and just don't know what is still current and what has been discarded due to being overtaken by results. The Internet is awash with info and files, but I am drowning in it all.
I have a few queries: -
1)Is there a Sensornet or Tiny OS Security Working Group, if not shall we set one up?
2) Is there a comprehensive source of published material wrt Sensornets (incl OSs) and Security?
3) Am I right in deducing that most Sensornet/Mote protocols and Routing protocols are proprietary (e.g. X-bow's own or other companies too)?
4) What is the old stuff that has been discarded wrt Security in Sensornets (e.g. Tiny Sec is old hat now right?), and what is now the new 'hot' areas of Sensornet Security that needs answers?
5)Any good books or websites on Sensornet Security that anyone can recommend?
Cheers for your help,
