TinyOS 2.0 beta2 release

The TinyOS Alliance is happy to announce the beta2 release of TinyOS 2.0.
The release introduces several new platforms, systems, and features, including:
- New tutorials
- Support for the mica2, micaZ, Telos revB/TMote Sky, IntelMote2, eyes, and tinynode platforms
- Two multihop protocols, Collection and Dissemination
- A more complete resource arbitration framework, with integrated peripheral power management
- Non-volatile storage for the mica and telos platform families
- Three general memory management components: Pool, Queue, and Cache
- Greatly increased sensor support
- New, efficient I2C stacks for the mica family and IntelMote2
- Additional documentation

You can also download the TinyOS 2.0 source code from Sourceforge using CVS. The module name is tinyos-2.x. Sourceforge also provides a source-code browsing service.
The next planned release for TinyOS 2.0 is a non-beta release before
the end of the year. Until then, the TinyOS Working Groups encourage you
to see how TinyOS 2.0 enables simple yet robust applications through
a careful redesign of many interfaces, subsystems, and abstractions:
