The TinyOS contrib caretakers are pleased to announce that TinyOS 2 is opened for contributions
and that the contribution section of tinyos.net has been updated accordingly. We would like to
encourage everyone to share their projects for any version of TinyOS and to make use of the new
features provided on the website.

To increase visibility of contributed projects, they are now advertised through an easy to read index.

- Simple contribution procedure:
We have formalized the contribution procedures and extended the documentation for contributing
projects for any version of TinyOS. Anyone wishing to contribute a project can simply follow the
steps outlined at:
Contributing Code
We encourage people to start contributing as soon as possible. We will be holding a "contribs"
session at the TinyOS Technology Exchange (TTX) at MIT on April 28th. Anyone who has contributed code
is welcome to give a short presentation describing their accomplishments. Details about
the TTX and how you can take part in it can be found at:
