IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium (RTSS) is the premier conference on real-time systems with a highly selective technical program. The wireless sensor networks track aims to foster the synergy between the real-time embedded systems and sensor network researchers. Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that demonstrate current research on all aspects of wireless sensor network systems. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Real-time issues in sensor networks
  • Sensor network applications and deployment experiences
  • Sensor network protocols and architectures
  • Operating systems and middleware for sensor networks
  • Distributed sensing and control
  • Power management
  • Programming abstractions
  • Wide-area sensing services
  • Detection, classification, and estimation
  • Localization and time synchronization
  • Security and privacy
